About Madeskov

Madeskov near Sønderborg is a dog park of approximately 18 hectares, where the entire forest is available for you and your dog. The Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) Southern Jutland manages the area, and there is free access.

The forest is not fenced, so your dog should be able to come when called. However, it can take a dip in Augustenborg Fjord if it loves water. Nearly 1.6 km of paths lead through the dense forest area.

There is free parking at both entrances to the forest and along the road Madeskov. Exit 10 Sønderborg V is about 6.5 km away.
