About Kollund Naturunivers hundeskov
Kollund Naturunivers dog park is located in Kruså, near the German border, and consists of two fenced areas side by side: one for large dogs and one for small dogs and puppies. Together, they cover about 1.8 hectares, and as the Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) previously operated a nursery on the land, the area still clearly reflects this. Access is free.
The dog parks are located at the back of the nature universe, which is now run by volunteers. There are bins, tables and benches, and water for the dog, and in the gathering hut, there is a toilet, but it is closed in winter. From the parking area at Nørrevej, where there is also an information board, wheelchair users can navigate the paths in the base area.
If you have time for more, you can walk the marked heart trail of about 2.5 km through the area. Motorway exit 74 at Kruså is just under 5 km away.
