Terms of use for Hundeskoven

1. Normal use

Hundeskoven is free to use. You are welcome to read, search, share links and use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes – on the website and in our apps.

2. Database right and copyright

Hundeskoven compiles content from its own research, user contributions and public or licensed sources – see Data sources and licences. Photos and map data may come from third parties such as Google, Wikimedia, OpenStreetMap and GeoFA, and belong to their respective rights holders.

The database itself – the selection, verification, enrichment and compilation of the information about dog parks – is the result of a substantial investment and is protected under section 71 of the Danish Copyright Act. Our own texts and images are additionally protected by copyright.

Extracting or re-using the database or substantial parts of it, or repeatedly and systematically extracting insubstantial parts, is not permitted without prior written agreement.

3. Automated access

Scraping, crawling, harvesting, bulk copying, mirroring and any other automated collection of content is not permitted.

This also applies to access through proxy networks, rotating IP addresses or automated browsers, and to any circumvention of our technical protection measures.

Search engines and AI assistants that follow our robots.txt are exempt. Collection for training datasets is not permitted. Permission for individual services may be withdrawn at any time and waives no rights against others.

4. Commercial re-use

Commercial use of data or content – for example in another service, app or publication – requires a prior written agreement. For embedding on your own website we offer a widget.

5. Logging and enforcement

All traffic is logged by our infrastructure provider, including IP address, time and pages requested. Systematic abuse is documented and preserved as evidence.

Violations of these terms may be pursued under civil law, including the Danish Copyright Act and the Danish Marketing Practices Act.

6. Governing law

Use of Hundeskoven is governed by Danish law.
