Lysbro Skov near Ørnsø, between Herningvej and Ørnsø in Silkeborg, features an unfenced dog park managed by the Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) Søhøjlandet. The forest is densely wooded, covers about 30 hectares, and has approximately 2.5 km of trails, with the small Pøtsø located in the middle.

You enter from the free parking area on Gjessøvej, opposite number 21, where there are also tables and benches. If you fancy a longer walk, you can continue along the Ørnsø Path around Ørnsø – about 3 km past Silkeborg Bad and its artworks – but outside the dog park, dogs must be on a lead. The second part of the dog park is located on the northern side of Herningvej, towards Langesø.
