Gl. Rye dog park is located in the northwestern corner of Kallehave Forest and is a fenced dog park of approximately 4 hectares under the Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) Søhøjlandet. Here, young trees stand side by side with old, beautiful conifers.

A solid path runs across the fence with a gate at each end, and a trodden path leads around the entire area – a total of about one kilometre to walk. You park at the northern end, right by the fence.

    Dejlig skov med høje nåletræer. Smukt. God størrelse. Indhegnet. En af Danmarks bedste hundeskove. Jeg kører altid forbi når jeg skal syd på.

    Fantastisk stor hundeskov, med mange stier! Til trods for meget regn i løbet af ugen, var der heller ikke en eneste mudret sti et eneste sted. Det er ikke sidste gang vi kommer her 😃 Det eneste der mangler, som lige ville give den sidste stjerne til topkarakter, er en skraldespand til hundeposer. Det findes ved alle andre hundeskove vi har besøgt.

    Gl Rye hundeskov er noget af det meste fantastisk hundeskov jeg har oplevet, den er på 4 hk pakket ind i gran træer og andet løv træer. Der er en bred gangsti hele vejen rundt også små stier , der er 2 bordbænke ved siden af hinanden ca midtvejs En hundeskov der simpelthen må opleves Om ikke andet så for en lille gåtur Det eneste kritik jeg kan komme med er, der ikke er nogen skraldespand derinde eller udenfor....

    Rigtig hyggeligt skovområde med flere små stier der fører en rundt i området. Har brugt stedet flere gange og kan anbefale det som et godt sted at have hunden med uden snor. Bagefter er hunden altid dejlig træt efter at have leget med de andre hunde.
