About Vridsløse hundeskov

Vridsløse Hundeskov north of Næstved, near Ring Nord, is a fenced area of young forest covering approximately 2.5 hectares in a newly established forest area. A two-metre high wire fence surrounds the area, and a small stream runs through it. The Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) Storstrøm manages the site, which is free and open all day.

The terrain is low-lying, so bring your wellies – it can often be very wet and sometimes flooded. Parking is available at Fagotvej. Keep your dog on a lead on the way to and from the gate, and remember a muzzle if it belongs to one of the 13 breeds with stricter regulations.
