About Vinstup Skov - Hundeskov

The dog park in Vinstrup Skov is located in the reforestation area of the same name on the north side of Hjørring. The Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) manages the fenced dog park, which covers about 5 hectares of forested terrain with approximately 1.3 km of trails, and your dog can run off the lead. There is a table and bench set in the forest.

You can enter through three gates: in the southwest and southeast corners and from the parking area on Vidstrupvej, opposite the entrance to Hjørring Golf Club. The trails connect with the rest of Vinstrup Skov, so the walk can be extended. Exit 2 Hjørring N is about 2 km away.

There is no bin, so please take your rubbish home. Your dog's waste can remain in the forest if you push it to the side of the path, but bags must never be left behind. In the fenced area west of the gravel road, leads are required because loose dogs can create dangerous situations at the mountain bike skills course.
