About Lundager Skov (Lundager Hundeskov)
Lundager Hundeskov is located in Lundager Skov near Assens, a forest that has only recently been planted, and the dog park itself is a fenced area of approximately 6.6 hectares. Almost the entire area is forested, and there are about 1 km of paths to walk on. The Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) Funen manages the site, and there is free access around the clock.
In the northern end, the forest opens into a clearing, providing space for dogs to play while you can sit on the benches under some old oak trees.
Your dog may run off the lead as long as you have full control and can stop and call it back, and it must not disturb other dogs, wildlife, or people. If your dog belongs to a breed that must wear a muzzle, this rule applies here as well.
