About Lerskov Plantage Hundeskov

The dog park in Lerskov Plantage is located near Rødekro and is a fenced forest area of approximately 2.7 hectares. Inside the fence, there is a smaller enclosure of just over 100 m² for puppies and small dogs, allowing them to run on their own. You can enter and exit through three different entrances, and there is free access all day.

A path runs along the fence all the way around, while the rest of the area is left to develop naturally, with footpaths forming as the forest is used. You will find bins and a table and bench set on site. The dog park was created by Genner Lokalråd in collaboration with the Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) Southern Jutland, and the nearest address is Tingvej 18 in Rødekro. It is about 3 km to motorway exit 70a Rødekro.

    En hundepark, der er praktisk at stoppe ved, når man passerer igennem, da den er indhegnet. En afslappet 10-minutters gåtur langs hegnet er alt, hvad der skal til. Jeg stødte på en masse hundeafføring undervejs, og fordi området er indhegnet, så jeg også nogle hundeejere, der ikke kunne kalde deres hunde tilbage og bare lade dem løbe frit.

    Hundeskoven er bare så fin, med mange hyggelige hunde og mennesker....der sker altid noget...flest besøgende mellem 14-16:30 på hverdage og omkring middagstid i weekenden. Skoven er ikke så stor og den er indhegnet
