The dog park "Hundeskoven i Ringe Skov" is located by Assensvej, about 1 km west of Ringe, and was opened in 2016. The fenced area covers just over 10 hectares and is partly wooded. The Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) manages the dog park, which is free to use and suitable for those with mobility issues.

You can enter through gates from both Assensvej and Nordskovvej. Inside the forest, you can take a circular walk of about 1 km along the path, and there is a table and bench set if you wish to take a break. There are also tables and benches at the parking area on Assensvej.

Your dog may run off the lead, but you must have control over it and be able to call it back.

    Rigtig god hundeskov med glade hunde og opmærksomme ejere. 2 bordebænkesæt, træer, plæne og brede stier rundt! Både store brede stier og mindre mellem træerne!

    Dejlig og fin hundeskov, en af de bedre mht. stiernes størrelse og fasthed. Dårlig adgang for gangbesværet pga. stor flisekant ved indgangen ved restepladsen. Mangler affaldsspand så der forhåbentlig var flere som vil samle op efter deres hund og ikke mindst et sted cigaretrygere kunne smide deres cigaratskoder i, i stedet for i hundeskoven.
