The fence runs approximately 1 km around the area, and there is free access around the clock – with one exception: from 1 April to 30 September, the forest is reserved for dog training on Tuesdays from 16:00 until sunset.

Inside, you will find a puppy area of about 200 m², tables and benches, bins, and an accessible path. There is no water point, so bring water with you. Park in the designated areas, for example, on Strib Landevej 98 or at Staurby Skovvej.

    Da vores gruppe fyldte 3 år valgte vi at holde fødselsdag for vore medlemmer samt bamser i Staurby hundeskov som vi har besøgt et par gange og vender tilbage dertil her sidst i oktober.. Vi var så heldige ikke bare med vejret men også med fremmøde af vore medlemmer og bruger af staurby hundeskov 😊☀️👏🏻 Til alle de fremmødte havde vi sørget for kaffe, the og en fynsk brunsviger med vores logo på 😋😋 Denne hundesko...

    Fint med hvalpegård jeg var på gennemrejse med mine hunde og den ene var byparker og stadig i løbetid.

    Det er ærgerligt at opleve, at ejere ikke har styr på deres hunde. Min lille hund blev flere gange trampet ned af en ung, uopdragen hanhund, som ikke ville lystre sin ejer. Nu er min lille hund bange for mellemstore og større hunde, og vi kommer aldrig i hundeskoven mere.
