About Kolding Åpark Hundeskov

Kolding Åpark Hundeskov is a fenced piece of protected forest covering approximately 4.8 hectares, located between Kolding Å and Skamlingsvejen near Marina Syd. The fence is about 1.4 metres high, and you can enter through five gates at any time of the day. The entire area is forest with an earthen surface, and there are about 1 km of primitive footpaths to walk on.

Once, sugar beets were washed here, but after production stopped, nature has reclaimed the place. In some areas, the forest is damp and almost marsh-like, so be prepared for wet paws.

You can park for free at Marina Syd on Skamlingsvejen 5, and if you wish to continue, the walk can be extended along the stream. Kolding Municipality is responsible for the dog park.

    Selve stedet er okay, men kunne godt trænge til en lille opfriskning. Atmosfæren er fin, men ikke noget særligt

    Man kunne ønske, at man fyldte flis i vandhuller,hvor man går, og bare en bænk mere. Vi er på en god dag 10 til 15 hunde men kun en bænk. Håber at der bliver gjort noget ved de to småting.SMILE

    Dejlig indhegnet hundeskov med skønne skæve, gamle træer i naturligt forfald. Større areal end jeg havde forventet. Stierne kan være mudrede, så passende fodtøj i våde perioder.

    Som udgangspunkt en rigtig fin hundeskov med gode parkeringsmuligheder. God størrelse og fine stiforbindelser. Stierne er noget våde her efter 25mm regn og de kunne godt bruge at blive toppet op med noget grus, men det er ikke umuligt at komme rundt tørskoet hvis man bare ser efter hvor man går. Det er absolut ikke sidste gang vi kommer her, omend i noget mere praktisk fodtøj.

    Dejligt område tæt ved byen. Ikke mange bruger den? Det er ellers et dejligt område hvor hundende kan løbe frit og snakke med de andre hunde, og løbe indtil de bliver trætte.
