Kalvebod hundehegn is a large fenced area on Kalvebod Fælled with around 6.3 hectares of open terrain and about 1.5 km of paths. The Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) manages the area, which is free and open all day, and you enter through three gates. There is free parking, and inside the fence, there are a couple of wooden tables with benches, but there are neither bins nor drinking water.

The fence does not completely contain a dog, so it is still up to you to control your dog. Other visitors are also allowed here, an aggressive dog must never be let off the lead, and organised training and classes are not allowed. The fence borders a shooting range, so there may be gunfire sounds – if your dog is afraid of loud noises, use the entrance from Kanonvej, which is furthest away. Outside the fence, dogs must be on a lead throughout the fælled.

    Dejligt sted. Dog vil jeg sige 2 ting: 1. Der mangler affaldsfaciliteter 2. Det er forholdsvist mellemstore og store hunde som løber frit

    Hvis du elsker indtrængende trafikstøj og konstante skudsalver så er det en mega fed hundeskov

    Parken har en god størrelse, men området, hvor hunde må løbe helt frit, er ret lille, og på grund af den høje vegetation er det ret tilgroet og uattraktivt for mine hunde. Når du finder parkeringspladsen, er der masser af plads og en lille beholder til hundeposer.

    Et super godt sted for hunde og mennesker. hvis du skal trine din hun til nytårs festen (Alt den larm) er det godt at komme der om Lørdagen eller Søndagen

    Dejligt sted at lufte vovser. Gode parkeringsforhold. Dejligt det ikke bare er en indhegnet mark men at der er træer, bakker, sø’er mm. Der er en del støj fra både skydebane og motorvej - men hundende elsker at komme der alligevel :)

    Dejligt lukket område hvor hunde i selskab med ejer kan trænes og blive socialiseret med andre hunde.

    Skønt stort sted, hvor hunden rigtig kan blive træt. Stor parkeringsplads, med nabo til en skydebane. Der er ingen skraldespand. Der er meget mudder på stierne når det har regnet meget. Hegnet er 90 cm, der er hegn ud til jernbanen og motorvejen, det forstyrrer freden, men et super sted. Højt græs og mange stier, der er 1 bordbænke sæt i begge ender og sten hunde kan sidde på. Følger man hegnet over til jernbanen er...
