In the newly planted Skævinge Skov near Tjæreby, you'll find this fenced dog park with an adjoining grass field – the place is also known as Tjæreby hundeskov.

The area has four entrances, and at the Herredsvejen rest area, there is a smaller enclosure close to the stream, which you can follow to the entrance. Parking is available opposite Bjerggården when coming from Tjærebyvej (opposite Tjærebyvej 24), in the 'semi-circle' on Herredsvejen, and at the rest area. At the highest point in the area, there are tables and benches.

    Tjae, lidt sørgeligt. Lige ud til hovedvejen, mødte ingen andre - dårlig skiltning, og kunne ikke finde hvalpeindhegningen, som vi havde læst skulle være der!?

    Det består af 2 dele kan man sige. Et gang system som er mindre men til gengæld fuldstændig overplantet med træer på tætte rækker. Stierne er ikke drænet og vandet løber nedad mod p pladsen hvor der er sump. Den anden del er en kæmpe mark. Igen ikke drænet så al vandet samler sig som overflade vand i den ene side som en sø eller sump. Klar mulighed for en kæmpe forbedring. Prøv det efter en måneds tørke så er det sik...

    Skønt sted med søde hunde i alle aldre og størrelser. Eneste udfordring er når har været vådt i vejret. Så er der meget mudret flere steder. Min hund er ligeglad, men jeg er knap så tilfreds 😎
