About Refstrup Skov

Refstrup Skov near Gadbjerg features a dog park of nearly 12 hectares where your dog can run off the lead. It is the eastern part of the forest, from Allevej towards the town, and the area is not fenced – so you must always be able to call your dog to you.

The forest is almost entirely wooded with about 1.7 km of paths, and there is a bench within the area. The Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) manages the site, it is free of charge, and you can visit at any time. West of Allevej, dogs must be on a lead. Parking is located close to the forest edge.
