About Ålbæk Hundeskov

Ålbæk Hundeskov is located in Ålbæk Klitplantage north of Frederikshavn and is a fenced forest of about 4 hectares, managed by the Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) Vendsyssel. There are gates in three corners of the fence, and on the northern edge of a small clearing inside the forest, your dog can get fresh water.

Drive along Gårdbovej to the parking area at the western end of the fence. Nearby, there is a forest lake with a fire pit and tables and benches. If you prefer a smaller area, there is a small, temporary dog enclosure with one gate at the eastern end, located west of the parking area.

    Rigtig fin hundeskov som er delt op i to indhegninger. Fin bevoksning med både store og små stier. Der er rigeligt med bord bænkesæt og mulighed for vand. Der ligger også en hyggelig lille naturlegeplads ved siden af, hvor der er overdækket bålsted.
