About Aars Skov

Aars Skov dog park is located between Blærevej and Aggersundvej and is part of the forestation project Aars Skov. The Danish Nature Agency (Naturstyrelsen) Himmerland manages the fenced forest of approximately 6.5 hectares, which is free and open all day. After thinning in the dense mixed forest, a network of paths has emerged for you to explore.

You enter through one of the gates from Blærevej, and the parking area is diagonally opposite numbers 6A–6B. The route along the edge of the dog park is accessible for wheelchairs or prams. There are tables and benches, and puppies and small dogs have their own fenced area.

    Et rigtig dejligt område uden snor og let tilgængeligt. Fuldt indhegnet med grusstier, skovstier og græsstier; man kan krydse eller gå rundt på den hårdere sti. Vi syntes, det var et smukt sted at lade vores hund løbe frit lidt!! Hvad os angår: Kan varmt anbefales.

    Dejlig stor hundeskov. Der er bænke og borde ! På denne årstid juni er den tæt bevokset med træer ! Der er fine stier, man kan gå rundt, men også gå på kryds og tværs ind i skoven!

    Pænt og rydeligt. Masser af plads til hundene kan løbe frit omkring. Én hel runde er meget tæt på 1000 m. Der er alternative stier man kan vælge undervejs hvis man vil gå kortere eller længere.
